Beautiful Things

I’m not just saying this because I’m terrible at wrapping presents (but I am really terrible at wrapping presents). I think the greatest invention ever was the gift bag. Besides making gift-giving easier, gift bags can be reused. And let’s face it– I’m all for any type of recycling.

I usually stock up on Christmas gift bags at the end of the holiday season, when Target and Kmart put them on sale for 75% off. I have a huge array of sizes and designs, and I have no qualms about using a bag more than once, as long as it’s in really good shape. That’s the beautiful part- the recycling aspect.

Oh, and the fact that I don’t need tape and scissors to complete my gift presentation? That’s pretty beautiful too.
